The North Carolina Training and Technical Assistance Center prides itself on offering quality alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs primary prevention training designed and delivered specifically to the DMH/DD/SUS block grant and discretionary-funded prevention organizations across North Carolina. The NC TTA Centers’ training and technical assistance services ensure that effective substance use/misuse prevention programs, practices, and policies are delivered within their targeted communities.
The NC TTA Center training repertoire aims to enhance our fellow preventionists’ skills in delivering results-based strategies to reduce North Carolinians’ use/misuse of substances and related problems across the lifespan. Whether the training is offered virtually, in person, or through a self-paced online learning management system, training is a key to developing and strengthening the prevention workforce.
